LegaSuite enables you to create new, modern user experiences out of your existing applications. LegaSuite Test Suite is built with your application modernization objectives in mind. You can build, schedule, and execute full test plans and track the results. The focus is on automating quality and consistency where it matters most—where users touch your modernized applications.
Easy and fast test case creation.
Create test cases and record test scripts visually, by stepping through the application as a user would. Set checkpoints for application states, field values, and the content and appearance of any region within the application window. Scripts and cases can be re-used via common libraries so you can build new cases and scripts using existing components. They can also be edited and re-ordered with simple drag-and-drop. You can even unit test your cases and scripts as you create them.
Support for standard and custom controls.
Right out of the box, LegaSuite Test Suite supports standard Windows and LegaSuite GUI controls. You can add support for custom controls and custom behaviors in just a few clicks. Test Suite can support just about any control, even in Java applications running on Windows desktops.
Edit and debug test scripts in VBScript.
All tests are recorded as VBScript and are editable right in the LegaSuite Workbench's Visual Basic script editor, enabling rapid script customization. Test Suite versions your test cases and scripts, enabling you to create new versions or revert to previous versions as needed.
Test with multiple versions of Windows.
If you need to support users with Windows XP, Vista, and 7 with the same LegaSuite application, we can make it happen. Run your automated tests on different machine or software configurations without having to create specific test sets for each. With configuration-specific checkpoints, your test cases can take the operating system into account and automatically adapt.
Support integration testing.
If your modernized LegaSuite application is part of a larger suite of applications, you can create stand-alone test sets that automatically run when you do integration testing with the rest of the suite. Even if you've built test plans for the larger suite in a different testing product, your LegaSuite test projects can be executed standalone with a simple ANT or batch file command.

The Post-Processing Dashboard displays test results in an easy-to-understand format. You can manage checkpoints, apply ignore or include regions, check runtime duration, and perform many other tasks. All test results can be stored in Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008, or MySQL. Your test history is always available for review.
